This climb challenged me physically and mentally—but the reward was incredible. The summit ridge of Island Peak offered 360° views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and more. The expedition flowed smoothly: accommodation, acclimatisation days, gear checks, and acclimatising at Dingboche made everything manageable. I’d happily climb with Skyline Treks again
