The 10 days long langtang helambu treks takes you across two geographically varied valleys gazed upon by sky-high peaks and villages that are calm & amusing in every way. And if you have an interest in Hinduism or spiritual, you get to explore the famous ‘Gosainkunda lake’, which according to Hindu Mythology is the abode of ‘Lord Shiva’.
Starting this trek from Trishuli River, north of Kathmandu, we travel through Dhunche to Syabru Bensi, a Sherpa village placed at the edge of “The Langtang National Park”. Passing along the dense oak & rhododendron forests and even the glacial moraine at places, we make it to the popular Tamang village of Langtang. This narrow Langtang valley Trekking is nestled between the Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of peaks to the south. You can encounter a spectacular 360 degree panorama of snow-capped peaks inclucing Langtang Lirung, Premthang Ri, Langshisha Ri ,Dorje Lakpa and Ganchempo, Tilman’s fluted peak.
This trekking isn’t particularly difficult; also it has many interesting possibilities of hiking from our base camps. Movingdown from Upper Langtang Valley, we move through the Laurebina pass to the high ridges of Helambu. On the backdrop of ‘Helambu valley’, is an outstanding views of ‘Annapurna and Manaslu’ in the west and ‘Mt. Everest’ in the east.
