This climb challenged me physically and mentally—but the reward was incredible. The summit ridge of Island Peak offered 360° views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and more. The expedition flowed smoothly: accommodation, acclimatisation days, gear checks, and acclimatising at Dingboche made everything manageable. I’d happily climb with Skyline Treks again
High-Altitude Triumph with Great Support
I wasn’t sure I could handle this climb, but Skyline Treks’ preparation and support made all the difference. Trekking through Everest region villages, acclimatising at Chhukung and sticking with expert guides gave me strength to push for the summit. The final scramble to the top of Island Peak was thrilling and surreal. When I stood at the top, I felt on top of the world—and grateful to the team who made it so smooth and safe.
Summiting Magic in the Khumbu
The climb was tough—ice, snow, crevasses—but the view from the summit was worth every breath. The guides were vigilant and experienced, and the way the whole expedition was organized gave me confidence even on steep sections. The camaraderie with other climbers, the glacier crossings, and watching the sunrise over Lobuche Peak made every day unforgettable.
Perfect Mini Trek from Pokhara
I flew into Pokhara and started the trek soon after—Skyline Treks made it easy and stress-free. Each day’s climb felt just challenging enough without being exhausting. The food was hearty, the teahouses cozy, and the local villages gave so much charm. Reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp and seeing the sunrise over snowy peaks was the trip highlight.

What impressed me most was how calm and uncrowded the trail felt compared to other treks. Skyline Treks handled all logistics smoothly, and our guide was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.
