Dream Route to Everest Through the Lakes

Combining Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp was the adventure of a lifetime. With Skyline Treks, the journey from Lukla through the tranquil Gokyo Valley, up to Gokyo Ri at sunrise, and then on to EBC and Kala Patthar felt seamless and epic. The contrast of turquoise lakes and snow-clad Himalayas blew me away. Our guide paced the high-altitude days well, the lodges were comfortable for the region, and despite the remote terrain I always felt in good hands.
