Everest Expedition reaching ‘Top of the highest mountain in the world is called“ is dream of many climbers. Standing tall at 8.848 meters is ‘Mt. Everest’ which is well-known as the ‘King of Mountains’ is the dream of every mountaineer, while fascinating every other. Placed in the picturesque ‘Khumbu region’ often referred as world’s most beautiful mountain region, the expedition to Mount Everest Peak is still the ultimate mountaineering journey. A climb to Everest provides striking confrontation with Everest, a rewarding cultural experience on approach, and a personal association with a rich history of exploration.
However, an attempt to Everest isn’t for amateurs, since it’s a major undertaking it requires climbing experience, solid alpine skills, good mountain judgement, excellent health, and a huge amount of dedication and determination. If you see Everest as a definite or possible climbing goal for yourself, we at Skyline Treks & Expedition can help you through all the stages of your preparation, from technical skills development to training in cold weather survival skills and the gaining of climbing experience at high altitude.
Our Everest expedition is finely tuned to Leave No Trace while offering you the highest possible chances for success. We climb Everest via the South Col route from Nepal in the everest winter expedition spring as this route and timing offer the outright chance of success compared to the North Col.
The approach from South Col during spring has less avalanche hazards as the winter winds already cleans much of the snow. Moreover, the expedition will be totally organized by our responsible team; they take care of all of your loads and logistics. A doctor, experienced in altitude treatment, always resides at the base camp throughout the expedition to ensure your good health. Also, you will be sleeping on bottled oxygen before setting out for the summit, carrying only very lightweight Russian oxygen bottles. Hence, you can only concentrate on your own health and conquering Everest.
By the time you get to the Everest base Camp, a route will already be established with ropes and ladders through the ice falls to Camp 1, and our Sherpa’s will be carrying loads of equipment up the mountain. The whole acclimatization is made possible in total four camps, hence during each forays, days and nights are spent attempting towards Everest while residing at each camps.
However, before setting you up for a luxury Everest expedition, it’s important for us to gain a full understanding of your body’s response to altitude and help you gain experience with Himalayan conditions. Therefore, we recommend you join us for two expeditions prior to Everest (Alaska’s Denali and Tibet’s Cho Oyu). These are top choices for your preparatory steps to the summit of Everest.
