Flight notice to Lukla
Nowadays Tribhuvan International Airport is under maintenance to avoid its heavy traffic congestion. So flight to Lukla is only possible through Rammechap 130 km far apart from Kathmandu. According to government authenticity body this will remains until its maintenance accomplishment. We think it doesn’t make you so much difficult because reaching to Rammechap (Manthali Airport) is only about 3-4 hours drive.
Besides of Lukla and return, Directly we can manage the arrangement of helicopter flight from Kathmandu. There is no more than five people in one group. Group cost of this one way flight for Lukla should extra 500 USD per individual. Grouping is made by our agent at airport immediately, so we request our clients to help us for group arrangement as much as possible. The conformation of preferred alternative helps us to become more reliable.
The concluding days of this trek will be spent in the delightful and scenic villages of Khunde (3800m) and Khumjung, where you have the opportunity to interact with the legendary Sherpa mountaineers and participate in their astonishing traditional lifestyle. Back down to Lukla to take a short flight back to Kathmandu.
