We can still see the influence in the rich local culture of Langtang Nepal. Furthermore, Langtang valley short trek also takes us to the ‘Langtang Village’ which was acutely valued by the devastating earthquake that hit Nepal in April 2015. The wonderful and easy 11-days trip in Nepal comes to an end in Kathmandu, from where Langtang valley treks had kicked off.
A short drive from Kathmandu takes us to Syabru Bensi and in the window across from Syabru Bensi a piece of heaven as “The Langtang Valley” sited; the valley is totally dominated by Langtang Lirung (7246 m), the highest peak in the area.

Other towering peaks of Gang Chhenpo (6388 m), Naya Kangri (7246 m) in the South and Dorje Lakpa (6966 m) supporting the east of the valley. The Langtang valley falls in ‘Langtang National Park’, Nepal’s first-ever National park, that spreads at an area of 1,710 square km. The lush green Rhododendron and pine forests are a haven to various wildlife such as, Langur monkeys, Red Panda’s, Himalayan black bears, Wild boar and so on which adds more excitement in the walking on Langtang valley trek route. Apart from the awe-inspiring mountain views, beautiful landscapes and unique local culture; one can visit artistic Buddhist monasteries, ancient cheese factory, and yaks. trek to Langtang valley offers plenty of opportunities for modest climbing excursions, so it would be unwise not to book extra days at least to visit beautiful glaciers and lakes and perhaps another to take advantage of Nepal’s mountains.

All in all trekking in Langtang valley should be perfect!
