Lhasa Tour means the place of gods, It is located in the southern part of the Tibetan high plateau at an altitude of 3650m above sea level and on roughly the same longitude as Cairo, The valley in which Lhasa is situated is formed by the Kyichu river, a tributary of the Tsangpo which is known as the Brahmaputra in India. The dominant peaks surrounding Lhasa range between 4400m and 5300m above sea level, From the roof of Jokhang temple you can get wonderful view of Potala Palace.
Lhasa Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport (T.I.A.) and pick up by our private vehicle and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing in Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square. (B)
Day 03: Arrival Lhasa Gongkar airport from Nepal, then transfer to Yak hotel(***).
Day 04-05 Sightseeing In Lhasa , Mandala hotel.visit Potala palace,Jorkhang temple,Nurbulingka and Sera monastery.
Day 06: Drive from Lhasa to Gyangtse 260k, views Yamdruk lake, Gyangtse hotel(***).
Day 07: Drive from Gyangtse to Shigatse 90km,afternoon visit Tashilunpo monastery, Manasarovar hotel.
Day 08: Drive from Shigatse to Rongbuk 340km, Mt Everest, Rongbuk guest house.
Day 09: Morning sightseeing Mt Everest views then drive to Kyirong, overnight Kyirong(**).
Day 10: Down to customs and drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel. Rest of the time for shopping.
Day 11: Transfer to airport for departure.
