Eastern Himalayan Region

Eastern Himalayan Region Trekking includes an eastern approach to Everest region, Rolwaling, the Makalu Base camp and the Kanchenjunga base camp Nepal. The eastern region of Nepal is remote. So, it is not so popular like other Himalayan trekking region (Annapurna, Langtang, Everest) but this eastern HImalayan Region have endless variety of places to explore, Nepal trekking package, Nepal hiking, Nepal climbing and village excursion tour. East Nepal region have the ethnic cast like Rai, Tamang, Sherpa, Limbu etc having their own culture. 

The Eastern Nepal trek like Basantapur, Dhankuta, Hile, Khandbari and Bhojpur are prosperous and clean. This area is also famous for tea growing area, Ilam tea is famous in Nepal and India belongs to this region. To make trips to eastern himalayan mountains, either domestic flight or long journey by bus is necessary. 

The main domestic airports are Pokhara, Lukla, Tumlingtar, Lamidanda, Phaplu, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Bharatpur and Taplejung (Suketar) which have direct connection from Kathmandu.
