Less Crowds, More Scenery

I chose the Gokyo route because I wanted a quieter Everest region trek, and it delivered! The lakes were incredible, especially the way the peaks reflected off the turquoise water. Skyline Treks organised everything perfectly — transport, permits, teahouses — and our guide was extremely knowledgeable about local culture and mountain ecology. The climb up Gokyo Ri at sunrise was absolutely worth the early start. Highly recommended for those who want big views with fewer crowds.
