A Unique Blend of Adventure and Tradition

Participating in the Yartung Festival during this trek made it far more than a regular hike. We walked across rugged mustard-coloured cliffs, explored ancient cave monasteries, and then arrived in Lo Manthang just as the festivities began. Watching the horses race, monks chant, and locals dance felt like a window into a deeply Tibetan way of life. Skyline Treks did a fantastic job ensuring our safety, providing cultural context, and making the remote route feel accessible.
