I was seeking a unique trek—and Upper Mustang delivered. SkyLine Treks organised everything from flying into Jomsom to trekking through wind-blown ridges and visiting tiny high-altitude villages. One highlight: walking along the Kali Gandaki gorge and then arriving at the desert ridge above Lo Manthang. The lodges were basic yet clean, and the value of the experience felt huge in comparison to more crowded trails.
