Thapa Peak Climbing also known as Dhampus Peak (6012m) often described as the ‘wildest, most remote and breathtaking’ trek and expedition in Annapurna region, ‘Thapa Peak’ climbing is truly adventurous and exciting. Since, the peak is challenging, a good physical condition is a must, and any previous mountaineering experience is a plus point. The route to the mountain passes through the dense forests of rhododendron, oak, deciduous trees and juniper. While on our way to the peak, we pass through Myagdi glacier, Dhaulagiri base camp and French pass to hidden snowy valleys and finally commence our climb to the Thapa Peak. Upon reaching its summit, you are endowed with the mesmerizing views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.

Thapa peak climbing itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport (Kathmandu) You will be meet and pick up by our private vehicle and than transfer to the Hotel.
Day 02: Visit our office for basic preparation for trekking and make permit for Thapa peak and Dhaulagiri trekking permit. (B)
Day 03: Drive to Manang and overnight in Hotel 6 to 7 hours (B, L, D)
Day 04: Acclimatization day in Manang overnight in Hotel 6 to 7 hours (B, L, D)
Day 05: Manang trek to Yak Kharka (3000m) 6 to 7 hours (B, L, D)
Day 06: Yak Khark – Thapa Peak Base camp (B, L, D)
Day 07: Rest for acclimatization (B, L, D)
Day 08: High Camp of peak (B, L, D)
Day 09: One extra day (In case of weather) (B, L, D)
